Wisconsin Department of Revenue and Department of Workforce Development Offer Assistance to Those Affected by MyPayrollHR Closure
Jeff Storch | 10.03.19
MyPayrollHR was an online provider of payroll services, offering payroll deposit, tax withholding payment, and similar services to businesses across the US. In September, the company abruptly shut down, affecting many employers and employees.
The Wisconsin Department of Revenue (DOR) and Department of Workforce Development (DWD) have issued a joint release offering to help affected Wisconsin employers and employees.
- DOR wants to hear from employers whose September payments to DOR may have resulted in insufficient funds due to MyPayrollHR’s closure, to help them avoid late fees and penalties for missing payments.
- DWD has announced that employees with wage related issues due to the closure may contact DWD at 608 266 6860 or fill out a Labor Standards Complaint form.
