Attorney Marta Meyers Certified as an AAML Arbitrator

Family Law Attorney Marta Meyers recently became certified as an American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) arbitrator.

AAML is a national not-for-profit membership association founded in 1962 to recognize and promote excellence in the practice of family law and to serve as the foremost authority and resource on family law.  Marta is a current fellow and past president of the Wisconsin Chapter of the AAML.  To earn certification, Marta completed AAML’s comprehensive and highly acclaimed training program.

Unlike traditional litigation, arbitration allows folks to settle disputes outside the courtroom. The process of arbitration is cost-effective and considered to be more streamlined. There isn’t a discovery process, and all clients and involved parties will provide evidence during action.

Marta has practiced family law with Boardman Clark for over 20 years. She counsels clients in all family law process options, including collaborative law, mediation, and more traditional negotiation/litigation.

Boardman Clark is one of Madison’s largest and longest-standing law firms. The firm serves individuals, businesses, school districts, and local governments. Its areas of service include litigation, franchise and dealership law, business law, taxation, estate planning and probate, intellectual property, family law, municipal law, banking, labor and employment, land use, elder services, real estate, and school law.
